About us

Our history

As a veterinarian, my small animal practice in Magdeburg has always made me feel connected to dogs, cats and other animals. So it was never a question that they also share my life privately. I started breeding dogs in 1989 by buying the Briard bitch Onyx vom Schäferstein, which I took to exhibitions to the German winner and raised 3 beautiful litters with her. Unfortunately, my professional activity leaves no time for several breeding dogs, but I preferred to keep two dogs. When my dog died at the age of 13, fighting dog hysteria was just beginning in Germany. Strangely enough, I never had any negative experiences with so-called "list dogs" in my practice, so in 2002 the decision was quickly made for the black and white Staffordshire bull terrier Ike. He is a lovable, very friendly black and white castrated Staffordshire bull terrier male. He always thinks that he has to adopt all animals in need. He particularly likes small pets such as rabbits or guinea pigs. When one of our cats gave birth, he lovingly looked after the puppies. He made it clear after the fall of the first fighting dog regulations - a real Staffordshire bull terrier with papers of high quality and well in the standard should become Ike's companion - perhaps also for breeding.
CH Hot Staff's bitch Jaunty Jane called "Tina" moved in with us as a puppy. Even back then you were impressed by her beautiful red with white markings, her absolutely feminine appearance and the "ashamed" look. After successful breeding, the time has finally come. In small hobby breeding, I will breed puppies that have grown up with the family and all the animals in the house. The young dogs will get to know as much as possible other animals, a charming environment, driving, mother-raising and a male. Before they are given multiple dewormed, double-vaccinated and FCI-GBF papers and given to a suitable owner with a starter set. Breeding and hobby are equally suitable. I prefer a specific size (standard) and a clean color, especially in red. All animals have to get along. This is not so difficult for the fish in the aquarium, but the dogs also get along with themselves and the cats. Some pictures should show that it works perfectly. This speaks for the breed too!
